We now know Ashley Todd is the Susan Smith of the 2008 Presidential Campaign. Not only did Todd accuse a black man of assaulting her because she was a McCain supporter, she went further to suggest this mystery man sexually assaulted her as well. The historical implications of such an allegation are substantial. White woman accuses known or unknown black man of a crime against her virtue as a white woman. Enters the lynch mob.
By accusing a black man, not just an Obama supporter, of these crimes, she sought to evoke the underlying, but still ever prevalent racism and prejudices of many white Americans. And she did this on purpose. She knew exactly what image she wanted to create in the minds of white Americans...angry, violent, sexually deviant black male...seeking to strike fear in the hearts of white America. And now this silly bitch wants to claim she has mental health problems. She knew exactly what she was doing and why she was doing it. Her only "problem" is that she is a white woman who understands the privilege her race and her gender afford her in this country.

Good news...Sen. Obama will be in Raleigh Wednesday morning. I think I may have to take a few hours from work to see him.
