Christian Nymphos... #freakyfriday edition

Hat tip JG*.

Christian Nymphos is a site that promotes healthy, Godly marriages by helping Christian women tap into, and embrace their sexuality withing the confines of marriage. The site states:
We are here to say to women everywhere:
“Be fully released to embrace all that God wants for your marriage! Ignite that intimacy with your husband, and grow in Christ together! Witness to others about Jesus, and at the same time, let them see you as a healthy, strong, happily married woman. Be a role model to other young women who need someone to look up to and talk to. Instruct them on marriage and don’t shy away from sexual questions they have. Young women need experienced women to talk to and get sound, Christian advice from. Let us honor God by showing these women what He wants for them in marriage!”[1]

This is great!! The church's anti-sex stance has always irked me. Why isn't sex a part of the Godly marriage discussion in church? I have every intention to have fantastic, mind blowing sex with my husband. Unfortunately, I did not grow up with women who seemed to enjoy sex in marriage, or even think sex should be a part of your marriage after children. Honestly, I don't think my mother has had sex with my father in a very, very, very long time. I have heard cousins complain about having sex with their husbands, b/c the husbands wanted it all the time. Well, hell, isn't it a good thing that he wants to screw his wife, and not his co-worker, or the secretary at the elementary school? Why wouldn't you want to have sex with your husband? If I was blessed to be able to roll over, and have access to a man, not just any man, but the man God has given me, you think I won't take full advantage of that blessing? Did you see my last #freakyfriday post? LOL!!

At the NYE service, my pastor had us take vows for the new year. The youth, single adults, and married couples. And the married couples said marriage vows to each other, he announced them all husband and wife, and told the men to kiss their wives. And he laid a great kiss on the first lady of the church. Then, he went on to say something I've never heard a pastor say before him. He said he couldn't wait to get home so he could give God the glory, and he told the married couples to praise God together when they get home. He was talking about sex, and he talked about it in a way that wasn't derogatory and disgusting, but loving and uplifting, and when practiced in a Godly marriage, is pleasing in God's sight.
