Jesse Helms left this earth on July 4th, 2008. I really don't have anything to say about ole' Jesse...other than good riddance. Sorry if that sounds harsh...it is what it is. I think what bothers me the most is how, here in Raleigh, people are characterizing him as some great Christian man. I don't think so. Perhaps, those people need to read up on the scriptures, specifically the scriptures about loving your neighbor, and doing unto others as you would have them do unto you.
